A seasoned advance agent and team leader, he has coordinated protective operations for corporate executives, diplomats, and high-net-worth clients in regions requiring elevated security awareness and cross-cultural adaptability. Known for his operational precision and global perspective, Benjamin brings a wealth of real-world experience to the classroom. As an ICON Services instructor, he leads International Operations, a course designed to prepare protectors for the unique challenges of working abroad—covering everything from logistical planning and threat assessment to cultural intelligence and diplomatic protocol. Jerry Towns Jerry Towns is a veteran Executive Protection professional and tactical driving specialist with over two decades of experience in protective operations and motorcade management. His career includes extensive time working with international delegations and corporate entities in semi and non-permissive environments, where he has served in both team leader and security driver capacities. Known for his calm under pressure and mastery of vehicle dynamics, Jerry has trained countless operators in advanced defensive and evasive driving techniques. As an ICON Services instructor, he leads Motorcade Operations, where he teaches students how to integrate mobility, safety, and strategy into seamless protective movements—both in training and in the field. Kevin Ghee Kevin Ghee is a highly experienced Executive Protection Specialist and Subject Matter Expert in athlete and entertainer protection. With over two decades in the field, Kevin has led security details for some of the most high-profile figures in professional sports and entertainment, managing complex travel logistics, venue security, and close protection operations across the U.S. and abroad. His background combines extensive law enforcement training with hands-on expertise in managing dynamic, high-visibility environments. As an ICON Services instructor, Kevin teaches the specialized course Working with Athletes & Actors, where he shares practical insight on balancing discretion, professionalism, and client engagement in the modern protection landscape. Dexter 'Doc' Peggins Dexter “Doc” Peggins is the owner and lead instructor of Steel Standing, LLC, a training company dedicated to equipping responsible individuals with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively during active-shooter, mass-casualty, and other life-threatening incidents. A veteran of both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army, Doc served over 23 years as a Combat Medic, Flight Medic/EMT, and Combat Casualty Care (C3) Instructor, as well as a Class Advisor for the advanced training of enlisted medical personnel. He is well versed in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and is certified as an instructor in Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), Stop the Bleed (STB), and Basic Life Support (BLS). Doc is also a graduate of the Department of Homeland Security’s Tactical Medical Instructor Course, bringing a wealth of real-world experience and hands-on medical expertise to the ICON training team.
